At the beginning of this century, the family Frutos Villar made her first professional steps while negotiating and selling at the local level, of the wines of the area of Toro.
Well before the standards of Controlled Labels of origin, we created in 1920 a bodega with Toro and with a clear directive of progress and restoration. In 1960, a news bodega was created in Cigales.
At the time of the consolidation of the Controlled Labels of origin, the family Frutos Villar acquires in 1988 a bodega with Ribera del Duero, named Bodegas Santa Eulalia.
It is with perseverance which Frutos Villar is able to incorporate in the various Controlled Labels of origin that offer the area of Castille. However, Frutos Villar do not leave therefore produce high-class wines of its own vineyards, those belonging to no Controlled Label of origin. Bodegas Frutos Villar makes his beginnings in 1990 by marketing wines of A.O.C. Rueda.
