Business Description
|
Lodovico Tombacco first began making wine in 1919, and his son, Sergio, launched the family business after taking the reins in the 1940's. Today, brothers Giorgio, Valerio and Marco continue to build on the traditions and successes of their father and grandfather. As a result of the care and dedication put into managing the estates, the family is expanding distribution in international markets.
The Tombacco family estates are located in a beautiful area of eastern Veneto known for producing superior grapes. The secret to the quality of the wines lies in the superb combination of the stony soils and climate. Add to this the expert winemaking knowledge, enthusiasm and a respect for tradition, and it becomes evident why the Tombaccos have had such success crafting wines from grapes grown in the Grave di Pappadopoli.
The land which extends over an incomparably beautiful natural area, nicknamed the 'Grave di Pappadopoli, is an area traditionally known in eastern Veneto for its production of superior quality grapes.
