Business Description

St. Michaels Winery is located in the historic Chesapeake Bay resort town of Saint Michaels, Maryland. Saint Michaels is a beautiful waterfront community on Maryland's Eastern Shore with a rich heritage, including shipbuilding, sailing and boating, excellent Bay seafood, shopping, fine restaurants and scenic vistas.
Two couples living in Saint Michaels founded St. Michaels Winery in May 2005. At St. Michaels Winery, we craft wines from carefully selected grapes sourced from specific growers. Our modest vineyard in nearby Wye Mills gave us our first all-Maryland wine, a dry, light white called Long Splice. Our first Maryland Cabernet Sauvignon debuted this fall. Most St. Michaels Winery wines are available in small runs of 250 cases or less.
The icon of St. Michaels Winery is the Chesapeake Bay Log Canoe sailboat. The historic Old Mill complex where St. Michaels Winery is located is owned and managed by notable log canoe owner and skipper Mr. Tad DuPont, who sails Island Lark.
