Franciscan Oakville Estate has been making award-winning wines in Napa Valley for over 25 years. Beginning with 240-acres in the heart of Napa Valley's Oakville growing district, Vintner Agustin Huneeus earned a reputation as one of Napa's great innovators with Cuvée Sauvage, Napa Valley's first wild-yeast fermented Chardonnay, and Magnificat, one of Napa Valley's first Bordeaux-style proprietary blends. Agustin Huneeus' passionate belief that great wines are an expression of great vineyards has been the driving force behind the classic Napa Valley wines we produce.
The next chapter in Franciscan's rich history begins at the start of a new century, with the inauguration of a new visitor center at our Napa Valley estate. Our familiar cascading fountain stands in front of a welcoming new home for hospitality, tasting and wine exploration on Napa's Route 29. Inside, you'll meet a gracious staff eager to lead you on your next wine adventure.
