|
Spring Mountain Vineyard, a single Napa Valley wine estate on Spring Mountain. The wines we produce from this diverse vineyard reflect the unique characteristics of the site. Abundant fruit, concentrated flavors and color, supple and chewy tannins, and bright acidity are amply provided. With a gentle hand in the winery and an experienced palate for blending, our winemaker blends two Cabernet-based wines each vintage: Elivette, an elegant and long-lived proprietary Bordeaux styled wine, and a Cabernet Sauvignon in a bold and muscular mountain style.
The estate is made up of 4 contiguous nineteenth century vineyards that were purchased in the 1990s and replanted to red Bordeaux varieties, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah and Pinot Noir. 225 acres of vineyard are scattered over the 845 acre estate representing 135 identifiable vineyard blocks on elevations ranging from 400 to 1600 feet above sea level.
